Our Qualifications and History

Peak Financial Network Solutions was founded by Paul E. Hill, and David S. Pearson in Cottonwood Heights, Utah in 2011 to add additional product and service offerings as a DBA of Financial Network FID West. Financial Network FID West was founded in 2008 as a new region of Cetera Advisor Networks LLC. Cetera Advisor Networks LLC is based in El Segundo, California.

Prior to 2008, Mr. Hill and Mr. Pearson were executives of Beneficial Financial Group located in Salt Lake City, Utah charged to begin, manage and grow the Financial Institutions Division (FID). At Beneficial Financial Group, The FID was created which conducted an extensive review of multiple broker dealers. After visiting and meeting with the major Broker Dealers in the FID marketplace, Cetera Advisor Networks LLC was selected.

Cetera Advisor Networks LLC based in El Segundo, California is one of the largest independently managed broker dealers in the United States. Founded in 1983, Cetera Advisor Networks LLC has grown to include more than 2,400 financial professionals and was founded as a 75% field owned broker-dealer firm.

Before 2003 Mr. Hill and Mr. Pearson had a combined 34 years of experience as licensed insurance and investment professionals with significant institution and advisory experience through a variety of firms to include: LPL, CUNA Brokerage Services, CUNA Mutual Group, W.S Griffith and Phoenix Equity Planning Corporation. The majority of their time has been spent working with clients, advisors, staff and financial institution executive teams in the Intermountain Area.

All advisors working with Financial Network FID West have passed in depth background checks, hold relevant securities registrations, insurance licenses and are encouraged to complete the CFP Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards requirements to earn and maintain that designation. Many hold various professional designations, and are licensed to sell an extensive list of non proprietary investment and insurance products.
